Electronic-Interiors will work collaboratively with the design team to provide specialized design services that ensure that a project's audio video and technology system needs are met. In the realm of AV and Technology, E-I will add technical expertise, experience, and knowledge to the team. In addition, throughout the design process E-I will open the door to innovation, outside-the-box thinking, and creativity.

As Certified CTS-D design specialists, E-I’s primary goals are to help determine in a measured quantifiable fashion, the system needs for a project, and to help provide successful, innovative, design solutions that focus on the seamless integration of technology systems and the building.

These are primarily stand alone, proprietary and limited use systems requiring arduous programming and interface to “work together”. The explosion of HDMI, Display Port, DVI, SDI, HD-SDI, and SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) has allowed E-I to provide seamless integration of products and technologies in a true “plug and play” platform.

Audio Visual + Technology System Design

Electronic-Interiors offers specialized design services for a wide variety of audio, visual, and technology systems. As certified CTS-D designers, E-I specialists will work through the details to ensure that systems are specified, installed, and maintained correctly.

As LEED Accredited Professionals, E-I will assist the design team with LEED certified projects, sustainable design, and green technology.

E-I technology design specialists will engage with the design team at any phase of a project: At the early stages of a project E-I will consult with the design team to help with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

As the project develops E-I will provide consultation, system design, estimating, construction documents, and specifications for bidding and permitting.

During construction and installation E-I will assist with Construction Administration for the systems specified, including review of submittals, warranties, and instruction manuals.

Security and Surveillance

Electronic-Interiors will offer expert advice and design assistance in the development and specification of a facility’s Security and Surveillance Systems.

In addition to being absolutely reliable, today’s systems need to be flexible, scalable, and easy to use. E-I is highly skilled and experienced at providing correct systems for any project type; from the basic more steadfast plans, to the demanding, highly complex plans with advanced program requirements.

E-I technology design specialists will engage with the design team at any phase of a project: At the early stages of a project E-I will consult with the design team to help with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

As the project develops E-I will provide consultation, system design, estimating, construction documents, and specifications for bidding and permitting.

During construction and installation E-I will assist with CA for the systems specified, including review of submittals, warranties, and operation manuals.

System Assessment

Electronic-Interiors will provide a full assessment of an existing facility’s AV and Technology Systems. For System Assessment E-I will

• measure and document the performance levels for existing systems
• determine the necessary operational levels and performance criteria for the user based on benchmark standards for that use
• recommend the necessary corrective measures for a system that does not meet the recommended performance criteria

Often times, problems with an AV system can be remedied by adjusting existing equipment or by replacing, adding, or adjusting specific system parts. E-I can help locate and isolate problems and offer solutions that meet a budget or a time table.

Acoustical Performance

Electronic-Interiors will provide a full assessment and design support for a facility’s Acoustical Performance, especially pertaining to rooms with AV and Technology Systems where effective communication is mandatory.

Time, energy, and money are spent creating specialized spaces for communication, conference, and the exchange of information. E-I will work with the design team to ensure that a room’s acoustical and technology needs are met.

New Facilities

E-I will work with the team to properly design new spaces to ensure that specific acoustical design criteria are met.

• determine the necessary operational levels and performance criteria for the user based on benchmark standards for that use
• recommend space planning, cross-sectional requirements, and finishes to meet performance criteria appropriately specify the audio systems

Existing Facilities

E-I will work with the design team to assess and correct the acoustical performance of an existing space and its AV and Technology Systems.

• measure and document the performance levels for existing systems
• determine the necessary operational levels and performance criteria for the user based on benchmark standards for that use
• recommend the necessary corrective measures for a space and its audio systems where the recommended performance criteria is not met

Process & Interface Programming

System Commissioning

Electronic-Interiors will perform building commissioning during the design and construction process to ensure that the building systems are designed and installed properly. This will include testing to verify that equipment is operating efficiently, and at the level of performance specified by the owner. System Commissioning is proven to be an effective tool for reducing building energy and maintenance costs for the life of a building. When done as part of the LEED process, commissioning certifies that building systems are designed, installed, operated, and managed in a manner responsible to the environment and sustainable design.

As AV + Technology experts, E-I professionals will provide commissioning services for audio, visual, cabling, and security systems. As LEED Accredited Professionals, E-I will also provide third party commissioning for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, day lighting, and building automation control systems. E-I will align the commissioning process with the design and construction schedules to provide benchmark Commissioning Reports that document site observations and data collected, and brief the owner of system compliance.

Architectural Photography

Electronic-Interiors offers specialized experience in the art of architectural photography.

Crisp, clean, dynamic results — E-I successfully documents projects for portfolio and publishing.

Included are high quality digital images that capture the exterior facades and interior spaces of the finished building.

Electronic-Interiors also photographs pre-construction sites, design process images, ground breaking ceremonies, construction sequence, and grand opening events.
